Dave S: Simple and serene. Every day there is one set meal for $9 in the traditional Japanese ichi ju san sai style, one soup and three sides with seasonal ingredients. Love it here.
Dolapo Falola: give in to the siren song of a japanese dessert tasting menu. sake ice cream, matcha macarons, black sesame creme brûlée are all standouts.
Trista Kempa: Great food and atmosphere but I don't recommend going in the winter unless you wear your warmest jacket the entire meal - 20 degrees outside, no more than 40 inside. Worth waiting for a warm day.
Craig H.: Bar tenders are great and super attentive. Highly recommend the Kaori of you're new to Sake and pair it with the Ramen salad as a first dish.

Zach Hamed: The best green tea this side of the pacific. Attentive service and great ambiance. Perfect place to get work done and taste the magic of matcha (same caffeine content as coffee but no crash!)
Cooper Smith: Brew bar that replaces coffee beans with Mast Brothers cocoa nibs, using both hot and cold brewing techniques. I tried the cold brewed Dominican Republic and it was delicious. But now I need a coffee
Niels Kristian Christensen: Stumptown coffee. Great little spot off the beaten track. Excellent view of the Williamsburg bridge and it catches sun all day. Mr Barista, the coffee was way too hot on my last visit.
