Chrissy Nickel: Great exhibits, so cool to see the rockets used for different missions out on the yard. Nice showings about global warming and social responsibility

Chrissy Nickel: Short loop trail (.33 miles) through the woods (if you want to get out of the sun!). Lighthouse wasn't open on our visit despite the hours saying it should be

Chrissy Nickel: Some of the best tacos I've ever had. Fresh seafood (fish, fried oysters, scallops), avocado fraiche, fruit and cabbage along with traditional taco fare. Nice park area with Adirondack chairs & games

Chrissy Nickel: Beautiful loop to drive (in the evenings), bike, or hike. The wildlife and nature of the land is awesome to see at different times of the day. Look out for ponies!

Chrissy Nickel: Great trail, but avoid it after a rain. The Mosquitos will eat you alive and totally ignore your bug spray

Chrissy Nickel: Unfortunate that the northern and southern ends are not connected-very small park on the north side, but nice beach access. More trails and the lighthouse on the south end

Chrissy Nickel: Very nice staff, extremely attentive to the dogs. Nice yards for the animals, though it looks as though the facilities could use some minor updates

Chrissy Nickel: Surprised to find all my beach day needs here-umbrellas, chairs, fans, and even sand castle kits

Chrissy Nickel: Helpful staff, good selection of summer pet needs (cooling pads and hiking accessories)
