Jenna S: This was my fav bagel spot although there's plenty of great bagels in NYC. You should try the whitefish at least once.

Jenna S: The BEST (seriously the BEST) soup dumplings in the world, not just New York. Get the Crab & Pork dumplings.

Jenna S: Take the 6 train past the end of the line at Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall. It swoops down past a cool abandoned train station and comes back up on the other side of the platform. Do it in the daytime.

Jenna S: their pierogis are dope. this was a regular haunt when i lived in the east village. Fried are better than boiled.

Jenna S: Funky Red Hook Bar with a bluegrass jam every Saturday night which is super fun!

Jenna S: The high line is pretty neat. Nice for a walk. Interesting reuse of a derelict space to create a beautiful public space.

Jenna S: great ice cream really close to where you're staying

Jenna S: Their poetry slam on friday nights is really cool. pretty world famous. woke AF.

Jenna S: its a ride up the metronorth but big ass cool art museum.
