David Derrick: Equivalent of a greasy spoon diner for gyoza (dumplings). Fantastic affordable price (450 yen for 10 fried or 8 boiled gyoza). Very tasty! Try the bowl of boiled gyoza in soup on a rainy day!

David Derrick: Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff! The selection of liquor, wine, and beer here is amazing! If these guys don't have the exotic booze you need they will order it.
David Derrick: Standard Starbucks. Friendly and efficient staff the morning I stopped in! I do love the blackberry mojito iced tea (hold the lemon aide).

David Derrick: New (summer 2014) hotel in the heart of West End. One block from a Walgreens, Starbucks, and West End movie theater. Friendly staff, free wi-fi, and plenty of dining options close by!
David Derrick: An ocean of cool calm quiet in the middle of the city. There is a requested costly donation but this museum is well worth a visit! Multiple medieval art pieces and actual reconstructed cloisters.
