This free park is adjacent to the classical Chinese garden, which charges an entrance fee. Both are nice, but the guided tour and authenticity of the garden make the fee worthwhile.
Next up, a stroll through historic Chinatown where I grew up! There are open markets, unique clothing boutiques, tea shops, and much more to see.
Do the Edible Canada Granville Island market tour. Guided by a local chef through the market, sampling tasty bites along the way. Well worth it!

10 minutes away is the Olympic Cauldron and the magnificent pixelated Orca whale sculpture! A definite landmark to see! I also advise people to take another visit at night, so pretty when it's lit up!
The only venue of its kind in MLS, BC Place stadium features a 100m x 85m retractable roof. Each of the roof’s masts is 47m tall. It takes just 20 minutes for the roof to fully retract!
To say you did it. Expect to take the cable car back down, but it's a fantastic cardio workout to go up this mountain side
Stanley Park is one of the biggest city park in the world, with the best beaches around including English Beach. Take a walk around the sea wall or visit the Vancouver Aquarium. This is the best park.
