Love the Abbey! The burning orange :it's good but is flat in flavor. The hummus plate is ok but It is not traditional hummus at all. Just add some tahini and some lime juice and youll be set Abbey :)
Great atmosphere. Found it via TMZ tour but the lady forgot to mention it was a gay bar. That being said my husband and I did have a great time here even though we didn't anticipate going to a gay bar
It’s an amazing environment fun times good cocktails and decent music depending on the night. I would not fully classify it as a gay only bar but definitely gay friendly as all of Weho is🏳️🌈
Great for those new to the scene. This place changed my Idea of gay clubs forever. I love hanging with my friends here, just beware it gets super packed Fri, Sat and Sun nights.
Our first clubbing experience in LA at this joyful, spacious, diverse club. Drinks are primitive and super expensive. But, again, it's clubbing in LA, what you expect, be grateful for free entrance 😄
Nice place to hang out during the week. Good music, crowd, & food. One of the best New Years celebrations as well. They throw some of the best holiday parties actually. Fun place!
Get on your knees and pray at the Abbey, a sprawling 16,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor drinking establishment that attracts a consistently fierce crowd of choirboys (and the clergymen that love them)
It is a fun club! But, you must be in the mood for twinks. My belief is never mix fashion with a possible date. Looking for real man go East possibly as far as Silver lake!
Vodka and Red bulls are $12 and totally worth it. The Sunday brunch cannot be beat – for the food or the view of beautiful men and women strewn about. -Kacy & Cori, The Real L Word
Great atmosphere and good food! Tried the short ribsquesadilla & portabello mushroom sandwich...highly recommended! It was sooo delicious! Great portion sizes as well!
Try their breakfast! I love coming on Sat. mornings to get some amazing food in my tummy & a Bloody Mary to get rid of any slight hangover from being here Friday nights! Try Breakfast & let me know...
This place has turned into a total tourist spot now. Its "bridge & tunnel" to the highest extent! You New Yorker's know what I'm talking about when I say "bridge & tunnel", over-priced drinks too!
When I need to wind-down and have a cocktail you best believe it's on Sunday afternoons with friends. My Best Bud Kris and CJ make the best drinks. - Ernest Pierce, DTLA
It's a great location, but during the weekend it's best to leave the drinking at another bar. It gets ridiculously packed and your drink may not make it through as most of it will be on the floor.
If you’re looking for the best place to go for Sunday fundays hit this spot up. Amazing drinks, mixed crowd and always a good time throughout the whole week. - Whitney
The happy hour used to be awesome, now it is just alright. It still is a fun location, just be careful because you can end up spending a ton of money. =)
Thru 1/6/14 vote for The Abbey for Best Nightclub and Jason Urbanski for favorite bartender in the WeHoConfidential Awards: www.wehoconfidential.com/2013/12/vote-in-3rd-annual-whos-who-rewards.html
This West Hollywood gay hotspot is a go-to destination for anyone looking to mix it up while fueled by a plethora of famous martini flavors, from key lime pie to cucumber.
Good food, friendly service, great atmosphere, and starbursts in the bathrooms! Bring a little cash to tip the bathroom attendant. It would be rude not to, boys!
As an SF Queen, I've heard LA Gays RAVE about this place, I found it to be lacking, no one dances, & bathroom attendants are annoying to have. Music was okay and the gogos were hot but couldn't dance
Some good bartenders here, as well as some who don't know what is in certain drinks and give you attitude when you ask them to correct it. Find the good ones, stick with them
