    This newly become hipster diner is fun, with it's new beer garden that is really funky. Saw the owner means a lot. Food is comfort and good real friendly staff and good prices. Live bands some night

    The pork and sweet potato empañadas were to die for! Cool and relaxing atmosphere. Not only popular because of DDD, but it's actually well liked by the locals.

    I swear by their brunch! Fried green tomatoes are a must, whenever they are available. The shrimp and grits are almost like heaven. I have heard that the pulled pork hash is obnoxiously good.

    Have had fantastic specials and breakfasts here! For vegetable lovers: more choices please, with less salt and oil. The spinach last night was intensely salty and oily. And I love the flavor of salt!

    You'll find some pretty amazing fried chicken and corn bread here. It was a complete surprise for me. A night of dancing, beers and their chicken will put a smile on your face.

    This typical looking diner serves up anything but standard brunch fare on the inside. Order the smothered chicken and waffles and a Pimms Cup: Pimms, fresh lime, ginger beer, cucumber and mint.

    Love Silk City. Great funky diner feel, fantastic food. Love the large backyard for dining al fresco. Good beer selection.

    If you're looking for a hip diner with a hipper menu and a place to dance the night away on a Saturday to indie, pop, rock & hip-hop without the cliche fist pumping crowd, than this is your spot.

    The Jaded Ruby is sooo good! It's like grapefruit juice with a surprise. Also the Bloody Mary is perfect too. You can't go wrong with either one first thing in the morning ;)

    There are those among us who would sooner die than drink inside Silk City, but we love sitting out in the beer garden. It’s always a friendly mix of people, and good for large groups.

    The mac and cheese was delicious! Waited a long time after ordering and the waitress comped our meal, which was nice . It was worth the wait anyway!

    Great coffee & desserts. Heavy handed with hot peppers in/on appetizers & desserts. Not everyone a hot pepper fan, limiting available choices.

    Drinks were mixed well. Spinach was delicious. Macaroni dish needs some more imagination. Flavor was bland and the center was dry. On the dance floor side, crowd was great. Bartenders were friendly

    Relax out back in the "beer garden" - since it's summertime I highly recommend getting yourself a 19th hole (sweet tea vodka and silk's homemade lemonade).

    Tuna burger, rare = amazing. Also, the honey jalapeño sauce on their cornbread is worth ordering the fried chicken... Just sayin'
