Scott S.: Good family-friendly place east of Humble. Extensive menu of BBQ and comfort food. Great burgers and chicken-fried steak too. Favorite side is their broccoli cheese rice casserole.

Scott S.: Best thing to know is that this is one of the few quality BBQ options in Houston for the dinner hour. Ribs and moist brisket are king here. Dirty rice as one of your sides is a must.

Scott S.: I've known people who have flown into Houston just to get these chicken and waffles. They are that good. Chicken-fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans on Thursdays are a favorite.

Scott S.: One of my favorite Tex-Mex places in the area for a long time. Can't help but get my cheese enchilada fix here. Try their Hot Fajitas!

Scott S.: Great value for the price for the daily regular gumbo, shrimp etouffee, jambalaya, and red beans & rice w/ sausage. Friday special, baked catfish w/ shrimp etouffee topping, served on dirty rice.
