Do yourself a favor and eat on the rooftop at The Garden of Megaro. One of the best meals I've eaten anywhere. Simple and delicious and the service was amazing too!
Don't look for the 32m high statue that is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was destroyed by an earthquake in the 3rd century BC and replaced by two deer statues.

Starting at the Museum of Natural History, it's a 1.3 km (300 m alt. diff.) walk through the valley to the southern entrance near the Kalopetra monastery. 3rd entrance halfway has food + drink stalls.

Less than 10 min. walk from the centre of Lindos down to the beach. The beach has a few shops, bars and Greek tavernas. Crowded, so come early.
Amazing place to visit. Lots of history overlooking the picturesque town of Lindos. Come early if you don't like queuing as the site gets very crowded. In the afternoon it can be extremely warm too.
Doric temple built in the 4th century BC, located at the highest point of the Acropolis of Lindos.
Just south of Lindos, the beach offers a great view of the Acropolis. Probably one of the hottest places on the island. Other than on most of the other east coast beaches, there's almost no wind.
The area is famous for its golden beaches, such as Tsambíka Beach at the foot of a steep cliff, where there is also the famous monastery of the Virgin Mary.
The site, and especially the springs themselves, are a bit disappointing. Fortunately there's the tunnel that leads you to the lake, at least if you dare to enter it.
150m tunnel leading the water from the springs to the lake at the other side of the hill. Just big enough so you can walk through, but once you go in there's no going back. Not for the claustrophobic!
Less crowded than Lindos, so you can visit the site any time of the day. Nowhere on the island are colours combined as beautifully as those of the sea, palm trees and ruins of Kamiros.
