Nice people, big and very good happy hour menu, awesome french fries and a bit of a scene. Not a bad place for networking when it's packed, otherwise everyone's at their own table.
I recommend their happy hour (sliders are fabulous!) and it's fun to knock some balls around to blow off steam after work. It's spacious and there's big screen tvs, if you're into that sort of thing.
I've recommended this before, one of my favorite bars in Portland. 80 foot ceilings, pool tables, elegant bar, fast friendly service. Love.
This venerable neighborhood joint has friendly staff, a pool table, three separate areas and if you spin the wheel and land on the right thing, your tab is free. Love the decor, I always feel at home.
They do have good snacks, lots of tables and usually group events going on, which are always fun to listen in on. It can get really busy, but the location and 'afterworkishness' aura works.
Great location, extensive menu, nice people, massive interior with private pool table area you have to search for. Comfy, cozy and a good place to 'pre-game' given the location.
This is on my list because their beers are decent, it's a good central location, the food is good, there are ample tables and the staff is nice. It's not a warm n' fuzzy kinda place, but whatever.
High-end food and a high-end experience. This is after-work drinks and maybe dinner with colleagues and less 'shootin' the breeze' kind of place. I'd go to Produce Row for that.
Great Burgers, I like the decor, it's stylish but homey, the newly renovated back patio has heat lamps so they can accommodate large crowds all year. Staff is nice, full bar, great place to be seen.
Okay happy hour menu, huge back patio, a portion of which is covered and the interior is modern and frankly, a little cold. The fireplace makes up for all that, though and the staff is efficient.
