Recommend the falafel appetizer. Comes with a hummus heavily flavored with dill and pomegranate seeds. Really good.
One of the oldest pizzerias in NYC. Uses a brick oven which is constantly on (off only for brick repairs). Part of Scott's Pizza Tour.
Huge castle, one of Oman’s UNESCO sites. It is currently undergoing repair as some of the renovations over time introduced inappropriate materials like cement and stone.
Some days, you can see men perform the Al-Razfa, a UNESCO intangible heritage dance done in two facing lines with singing, sword shaking and instrument playing.
Such a good breakfast. Everything was good. Chickpeas, scrambled eggs, bread. Very vegetarian friendly too.
Very cool historic site with very little people. Somewhat hard to find and not well labeled, but might be the coolest thing I saw in Oman.

The Arabic breakfast comes with a little bit of everything: fresh bread, halloumi cheese, black olives, yogurt and fresh orange juice. Effort to put it all together.
Best cocktails in Muscat! The Hala Luau is the Muscat-special tiki cocktail, with rum, mango and spices.
This place has farmers market paella! It’s so nice to have a vegan paella option that is thoughtful. The Spanish wine selection is fantastic too.

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed yet in Palm Springs. Adult, quiet, comfortable with a pool and good cocktails.
