Premshree Pillai: They seem to source poor quality beans, and roasted sub-optimally, but this is still a reasonable option in DUMBO, especially with the baristas expertly doing the best they can with those beans.

Premshree Pillai: Dimly lit, no-attitude, cozy Park Slope cafe. They do a good job using Counter Culture beans. Haven't tried espresso-based drinks yet.

Premshree Pillai: Seattle coffee comes to NYC! In typical New York style, though, the café is small, has only standing room, but still manages to have a small roaster and a restroom.
Premshree Pillai: An unpretentious, fabulous place in Inwood. Great food, very friendly staff, lovely vibe, a true neighborhood cafe. They also do a good job with Counter Culture beans.

Premshree Pillai: They may have food you can take out, but it's nothing like "take out food". Meals are chef-prepared using ingredients of the highest quality. Bonus: they pull shots using Intelli, and well.
Premshree Pillai: The quintessential neighborhood cafe, super small, super cozy, pulling inconsistent-but-still-pretty-good shots of Toby's Estate. Get your loaf of Blue Duck Bakery bread here.
Premshree Pillai: Beautiful space pulling Stumptown for espresso and a rotating selection of roasters for pourover. The primarily UN crowd makes for a very international (and often well-dressed) clientele.
