Paul Rayment: Tupac played Travis Younger here in the play A Raisin in the Sun. He was a member of Harlem's 127th Street Repertory Ensemble which he joined aged 12.

Paul Rayment: Tupac attended the Baltimore School for the Arts, where he studied acting, poetry, jazz, and ballet. He was considered to be the best rapper and his beatbox, won most of the rap competitions.
Paul Rayment: In '88, Shakur attended Tamalpais High School. In June '89 his poetry teacher organized a concert leading him to be signed by Atron Gregory setting him up as a roadie & dancer 4 Digital Underground.

Paul Rayment: November 30 1994, Tupac was shot 5 times & robbed in the lobby of Quad Recording Studios in Manhattan by two armed men in army fatigues. He would later accuse Sean Combs, Andre Harrell & Biggie Smalls

Paul Rayment: Tupac was treated at Bellevue Hospital after the '94 shooting (5 bullet wounds; 2 in the head, 2 in the groin and 1 through the arm and thigh). He checked out, against orders, 3hrs after surgery.

Paul Rayment: The Notorious B.I.G. was shot in a drive-by here (at the red light at Wilshire & Fairfax) after leaving the '97 Soul Train Music Awards.It was believed to be in revenge for the shooting of Tupac.
