Go with a friend and do a splitty-splitty on a bagel with lox+scallion cream cheese and another with whitefish salad. Why pick one when you should have both?

Murrays are my favorite bagels in the city, bar none. They don't toast, but the bagels are perfect the way they are. Good coffee. They keep the line moving, even at rush hour.

Anna Frenkelธันวาคม 18, 2011whitefish salad on a freshly made bagel. the long line is worth it, but move quickly, know your order, and never *ever* ask to have your bagel toasted (they're freshly made on premises!)- Everyone says get the lox, and they're not wrong. But Russ & Daughters has as good lox, so you should really get what Murray's does best: whitefish salad on a bagel. They'll put a 1/2 pound on, too.
Bagels are always warm because they're fresh out of the oven. Stopping in here for an egg-bagel sandwich on the way to work is a must if you live in the area. Even if you don't, it's worth the detour.

Delicious bagels that I crave almost daily. The health grain bagel is probably my fav, it's so hearty, and with veggie cream cheese..mm!Do not ask them to toast your bagel though. I repeat, do not.
They don't toast the bagels, they don't need to. They do make the best tuna salad in the city. Put it on an everything bagel and stink-breath away your Sunday.

Strawberry cream cheese bagel with medium black coffee is my favourite after-workout snack. Bagel is amazing, coffee only so-so, but together they form irrestisible combo!

Possibly the best bagels in the city, you have to try the whitefish salad. The knishes are delicious too.
