A bakery before a cafe - the pastries are heavenly (I've never had such strong feelings about a croissant)
The staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly, and they know their stock. This place is great for a unique gift (e.g. a stellar coffee table book)

Personal favorite brunch place. All of the food is great (plantain omelette!!) and the all you can drink brings endless mimosas, sangria, margaritas, etc. all of which are great
Adore the staff here, they're always super nice. The French onion soup is delicious but I usually opt for breakfast food. Whatever you get portions are crazy

Have had Emmett's and been transported, but have also had it and been disappointed by the crust. Regardless: I love deep dish. I will keep eating Emmett's pizza
