Peaceful, but very remote. Unless you have a car, it's incredibly inconvenient. Management also has all these rules you're required to follow that make this feel more like a camp ground.

Bring dish washing things with you. They are not supplied and you don't want to have to buy a whole bottle of washing up liquid in the resort shop only to leave most of it behind.

If you are arriving by train and need a taxi to take you to the hotel, get off at Levanto, NOT Bonassola. There are no taxis in Bonassola.
