Free pool, good beer selection, bartenders with gold teeth. can be a bit of a scene Thursday-Saturday but what bar in the east village isn't.

Great bar that's tucked upstairs. It does get very crowded on the weekends so I would come earlier just to score a table.
Decor and drinks are awesome here. Witnessed a guy who didn't tip after running up $100 tab get called out by the bartender. My tip: Tip your bartender, they are amazing!

a hidden gem. take the steps to the right of 13th Step and enter through the door on the left.
Kind of speakeasy-ish since the entrance looks like you're going into an apartment. And for some reason it's also James Bond themed.
Best effing spot in my neighborhood. Even better if there was a stricter no-bros-from-downstairs policy.
Cold out?! Grab a cocktail and get nice and toasty by the fireplace.
