The trade here is mediocre ambiance and Instagram unworthy food plating for authentic, spicy as hell Thai food at half the price of Uncle Boon's. It's a great new option.

Got the shrimp pad thai, curry noodles, and crab omelette. Everything was tasty but the shrimp pad thai was clearly the yummiest and perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to return to try everything else!
Chicken scharwma is better than the chicken and rice and if you eat in you get home made chips on the side! Ask for extra green sauce, it's spicy and pairs well with the sandwich!

From the Wayland folks comes very solid cocktails -- everything with fresh veggies and fruits were particularly good -- and legitimately tasty bar food like a "pastrami" fish sandwich. Solid value.
Best fried chicken in Manhattan. Go with a group and also try the smothered chicken and pork chops. All the sides are excellent, especially the greens. And don’t skip that cornbread!
Authentic Szechuan food! Get a fried whole fish or fish filet in chili sauce, mapo tofu, shredded cabbage, and you'll need rice.

Everything was great. The pickles brisket, all the hwe, and the chicken for 4 were standouts. Also great cocktails and an interesting wine list.
Special crudos of the day are the real winners. The beef carpaccio is also delicious. Spicy vodka rigatoni is good but a little too al dente. Definitely overpriced but everything was so good.
Come for the drinks, stay (patiently) for the food. Recommend tata-age chicken. Tata-age all around!

Beautiful historic hotel with friendly, helpful staff and clean rooms. Cafe Gitane has an authentic French feel, but is overpriced. Absolutely love this place!
