Fu-unji - Tsukemen can be found here which is dipping ramen. You walk in, use the ticket machine, state your size (omori = large), eat, and get out. Quick turnover, but you will always find a line.

Really tiny restaurant which only seats 8 ppl, hence the wait/line up. It's worth the wait though, esp. on a cold day like today! Get the 1st item on the menu, the chicken broth is to die for!!! 😍😋

Lovely, relaxed soba restaurant - sudachi (citrus) soba was fresh and duck ramen was delicious. Anago tempura light and buttery, futo-maki very yummy. Takes reservations in English and English menu.
Save yourself a 3-hour wait at Sushi Dai and eat here instead. The line is much shorter, but most tourists don't know because it's just a few steps further down the alley (btw buildings 6 and 7).
Great noodles in the Shinjuku area. This is the one up maybe 5-6 stairs. Staff is very friendly -- they'll help you order from the machine if you need it.
This was rec'd to me as Best Ramen in Tokyo & it didn't disappoint. You order with 2 variables -- spicyness (I went 2 of 4) and numbing (I went 3 of 4). Numbing is amazing (& I'd rec'd going 4 of 4)

The sukiyaki is great at the primary branch of Imahan's. Steps away from Ningyocho station, be ready to splurge on some of the best beef you will taste. Reserve a set menu ahead of time!
Ningyocho Imahan Ginza is one of the top Sukiyaki specialist in Tokyo. The sukiyaki and steak courses are out of this world. Go for the special beef, especially the champion for the year. 👍👍👍
Beef sukiyaki is amazing. The cheapest is already very good (at least by western standard) but we also tried the medium quality and that was mind blowing melt in mouth. Not a cheap place but worth it!

Great service - staff were so friendly! Huge portion - stick with the smallest to enjoy it! Shoyu and miso ramen and tsukemen were both great even though I'm a bigger fan of tonkatsu.
One of the best Tonkatsu I've had. Instead of a single slice of pork, the pork is chopped into chunky pieces which makes it tastier and softer.
