Great place at the WTC Mall basement! The offer quite some specials, which definitely set them apart from other brands. Try the Campfire Mocha. It's a lively place which is good for people watching.
Superb restaurant! Great ambiance, great staff and service, and great food! The orange peel chicken is definitely worth a try! Portions are rather large and ensure good price / quality ratio.
A must visit when you love Arabic food! There are a wide variety of items on offer, among which are quite some kebabs. Service is okay, though could be improved. Try the sweet potato fries!
The observation deck offers great panoramic views of Abu Dhabi and the Gulf. Totally worth a visit, especially on clear days. View was good and the windows weren't as dirty as I had expected.
Looking for the Observation Deck at 300? Walk through the Avenue at Etihad Towers (2nd floor). At the end turn right and go upstairs. Pass the entryway (in lobby) at your right and just go straight.
Great place where you can create your own burrito. Wide variety of meat, salsa's, and vegetables and toppings! Reasonably priced too considering the size of the portions. Try the burrito barbacoa!
Great place with good offerings! Loving their club sandwich, I bet their Superclub is even better. It's quite crowded here, so don't expect quietness here. Good for catching up with friends though.

Find a secret spot with seats on the left of the entrance to the KLM Crown Lounge. Great spot for people watching that are passing by below through the lounge.
Even though the service is a bit slow, the staff really make up for this, especially Dewi who is super kind. The food is good though a little on the pricey side. Don't forget to ask for the lunch menu
Be sure to get here on daytime as I expect it to be more explorable and crowded than at night time. Good place though if you like creativity and art as there are quite some lovely shops here.
One of the better restaurants in Nusa Dua. Superb ambiance, great staff, fairly large portions, and reasonable prices that already include 21% tax. At some nights there's live entertainment.
Scenic overlook on the sea with Lombok in the distance. Be sure to get a good spot so that you can see the water blowing upwards when a wave hits the coast. Nice wind too.
Taipei's central park, which is an oasis of serenity in Taipei. There are quite some beautiful birds in the ecological pond. You can also feed the squirrels in one of the trees surrounding the pond.
Hustling and bustling temple just outside the center of Taipei. Expect many Chinese / Taiwanese to do their prayers, which is quite interesting to see. Good spot for people watching.
Really love this piece of architecture, much better than Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall. Don't forget to watch the hourly changing of Royal Guards, though expect some Chinese crowds.
(On a clear day) the observatory provides you with quite some scenic views of Taipei. Don't forget to check whether the outdoor observatory (91st floor) is open. The damper is fantastic too.
Marvelous architecture! Though the subway drops you at level 1, you can buy tickets for the observatory at the fifth floor. Tickets are very reasonably priced and don't expect huge crowds.
Really nice restaurant with speedy service. A welcome drink and bread is provided free of charge, as are, at times, Balinese schnapps. The fresh juices, nasi campur, and mix sate are really good!
Lovely shrine outside central Taipei, rather crowded by Chinese tourists. Don't miss the hourly change of guards ceremony. Secure a spot in the courtyard as ceremony will first take place there.
The observation deck provides a good overview of the active runway as such providing great opportunities for aircraft spotting. Be sure to bring a zoom lens though (up to 250 mm is sufficient)
Fancy and authentic cafe at the Taipei Expo Park good for having a quick bite for super reasonable prices. A wide range of coffee is provided as well and portions are rather large.
Excellent spot to do some airplane spotting as it is right under the approach path of Taipei Songshan Airport. I recommend walking all the way to the end of the park for the best view.
Cosy little Morrocan restaurant that's not too busy. Definitely worth a try are the tajine dishes, of which the meat is super soft and tasty. The chai tea on offer is also excellent.
Great location at the waterfront of Velserbroek. Superb view over the water with a nice terrace. It can be quite inconvenient to reach though. Great and good quality food for reasonable prices.
Most food and beverage outlets are located at the central (town) square and at the food court at the second floor. Please note, however, that at this time just McD's, BK, KFC and Shake Shack are open.
A very nice café to grab coffee and eat some cake. Service is good and quite personal. This place may seem busy but they have a large seating capacity. Prices are reasonable and not too high.
A nice café to have a bite, it's not top crowded here. Offers both breakfast and lunch. Sandwiches are good and prices are reasonable. There's free WiFi, just ask one of the waiters for the password.
Very nice entourage with seating options both inside and "outside" on the terrace at the central square of Yas Mall. Food options are wide and good, though they seem rather overpriced to me.
