Great views of Seoul. Nice neighborhood, but not ideal to experience the traditional Korea. Service could be friendlier.
Very modern station and friendly staff. Ticket vending machines are also available in English but they don't take non-Korean credit cards.
I really loved Itaewon although is full with expats and international shops/restaurants and it's difficult to get the a true Korean experience.
The secret garden can be basically only visited as part of a tour. If English tours are all sold out take a leaflet at the entrance and join a Korean tour.

A little piece of England in South Korea. The closest hotel to the Seorkasan national park. Great for a morning hike.
A penis park. No joke. There is a legend connected to it, but it gets a bit "too much" sometimes ;-) The sea views are stunning.

Stunning new station and easy to get to with the bus 700 from hotels, city station and bus terminals. Best way to/from Seoul and Busan.

Hiking to the Hallasan is such a great experience and the Eorimok Trail is a good start, although it doesn't bring you to the summit.
After ascending the Hallasan via Eorimok trail, descend it via Yeongsil, for the best views.
The scariest place on earth. Probably one of the most dramatic moments of my life.
Claustrophobic! But you get a good understanding of what's going on at the DMZ.
