Gabriel Seah: Complimentary pickled cabbage OK: crisp & sour. Bread rolls weren't good. Kompot (fruit drink) was OK: quite light. Great Georgian food: tasty, big portions. Service here is pretty good

Gabriel Seah: The bahn mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) are $4 - including tax! They're pretty big. The baguette had some crustiness. Assorted is stuffed with various meat products. It's pretty decent
Gabriel Seah: Watermelon ice cream roll: watermelon flavour convincing. The torched marshmallow has a lovely flavour. You can add toppings like whipped cream, chocolate hazelnut rolled wafer, boba & chocolate sauce
Gabriel Seah: Farm-to-table food, made using rustic French cooking techniques and local, seasonal ingredients, but as a quick-service concept. If that doesn't mean anything: you get a new menu every 2 months!
Gabriel Seah: This place opened by Syrian refugees has Syrian food on the menu (none of their items are generic Middle Eastern). The staff here are really nice.
Gabriel Seah: This place serves fresh mini donuts late into the night. You get 1 flavour for every 6 donuts, from 3 choices: cinnamon sugar, OG sour cream icing & a weekly special. The latter is a bit pricier.
Gabriel Seah: One of the rare Five Guys outlets in the GTA which has shakes. You get unlimited mix-ins so you can go crazy: many flavours in 1 shake is great. Bacon sounds odd but it's the best especially with Oreo

Gabriel Seah: Besides Yunnan crossing-the-bridge noodles, they also have various snacks that are pretty cheap, starting at $2.99 & maxing out at $6.99. There's a cash discount but it's only 5%.
Gabriel Seah: Lunch specials are $7.95, including weekends. They're quite a big portion. The egg roll was good, with cabbage and bits of red roast pork (though I couldn't taste it: it's just for show)
Gabriel Seah: Samosas cheaper & tastier than Samosa King; 5 for $1. They were fresh & the interior had a light yellow filling. It tasted a bit like dal mix though the texture was different of course.
Gabriel Seah: The deep fried chicken wings are pretty good - with an especially crispy, light batter. I've had tastier Chinese chicken wings in the GTA but these still taste pretty decent

Gabriel Seah: Good value brunch with 2 carving stations. The food here is generally decent, except the chicken sausage which was chewy & flavourless & whose skin had lost its bounce. The BBQ chicken was excellent.

Gabriel Seah: This place was recommended to me by a Japanese person, and I can see why: this Japanese restaurant is more refined than average, with a somewhat peaceful interior.
Gabriel Seah: This chain has pretty cheap grub. Nothing fancy - mainly tacos, burritos & burgers, but there's lots of deals & potential for customisation. Ever wanted relish, feta & hot sauce in your tacos?
