    EDI has only 1 terminal. Checking in and bag drop is slower - fewer counters. Security screening flags lot of bags but most times nothing is found. Arrive early! Lounge is very average.

    Airlink is the quickest way into town for £6 return but normal Lothian Buses although not as frequent are only £3 for a whole day of use and give you the ability to travel all over Edinburgh

    When I went the self service check in kiosks weren’t working so was then under stress to get checked in time for boarding.

    I managed to miss the bag drop-off whence in a hurry. Not so neatly planned. No big board to find your way. Otherwise nice.

    Have ever seen a more ridiculous security check? They have totalled over engineered it which make it actually slower.

    often long queues at security in the morning as they don't open all security lanes so arrive early!

    More choice pre security not sure a seafood bar and yo sushi are my first choice of restaurants needed in the small terminal and it's £1 to drop off rising to £5 after 10 mins bit of a rip off

    Обслуживающего персонала в принципе не видно. Были вопросы по taxfree, gates и прочее. Спросить можно только в магазинах и ресторанах. Стойка taxfree, это просто почтовый ящик

    Despite the cute name, EDI security is ruthless. They made us move our liquids into tiny bags, all for the security theatre of it. Realize security may be slow

    Per andare a Glasgow prendere l'autobus 747 fino a Ratho station (5-10 min) e poi il citylink900 per Glasgow! easy peasy e in 45 minuti siete alla Bus station!

    Not sure if it's just me but I got a burst of dung in my face as soon as I got off the aircraft.. Guess it's the manure.. A freshener at hand will help.

    If you get a William Wallace-era wooden bow & plastic arrows, be sure to check it. Because security here is very TSA-like and they'll think a "wee man" like this could take over a 757 with it!!

    Make sure you leave extra time to get through the new security check. I have travelled through airport a few times in last six months and queues are getting worse and worse.

    Security has bizarre rules. They inspected my lighter, took my deodorant, and even went through the cards in my wallet (!!!). Unpleasant and strange experience.

    Every time I've flown from here it's been late in the day with a BA or EZY flight back to London. Never had a queue for security in all the times I've been here.
