This is the kind of place that makes you never want to leave the wvillage. Downstairs is a jazz bar at night, and a swanky wifi and blue bottle powered workplace during the day.

Grateful I moved out of the neighborhood! The downstairs is salvageable but upstairs is a bistro and extremely busy/loud now. Head downstairs if you must for peace and quiet - beware of laptop zone- open late all year, open windows in the summer. tucked away and filled with local chill west village folks. this location is one of my favorite coffee shops in all of New York

During the summer, whynot opens the windows wide for a nice breeze. Coffee's good, and the bossa nova tunes from the record player are even better.

Cappuccino was a bit heavy for me. Get a cortado and take a seat by the floor-to-ceiling window.

Wide open 14' windows and benches on Gay Street. A great improvement over the unvisited clothing store that was on this corner.
