This is the kind of place that makes you never want to leave the wvillage. Downstairs is a jazz bar at night, and a swanky wifi and blue bottle powered workplace during the day.
Overall good ambience and good date spot. The food is decently priced for a casual French restaurant. Recommend the selection of cheese and charcuterie, or the truffle fries.
Good staff. Truly French. Great atmosphere and design. Good wines. Great spot for a drink or two after the office. Haven't tried the food but looks good and have heard positive feedback from others
Grateful I moved out of the neighborhood! The downstairs is salvageable but upstairs is a bistro and extremely busy/loud now. Head downstairs if you must for peace and quiet - beware of laptop zone
A perfect spot to work during the day or evening (although there is a no-laptop policy after 7pm). Get a coffee or tea and sit next to the open windows. Wifi. Blue bottle coffee. Good vibes.
Lovely coffee-shop with huge windows and free wifi in a great location. And the coffee is good too..so perfect spot to study or to have a chitchat with a friend.. What else to ask for?
open late all year, open windows in the summer. tucked away and filled with local chill west village folks. this location is one of my favorite coffee shops in all of New York
Great jazz bar downstairs, very hipster jazz compared to other places in the area but still great music quiality, been here three times and the music is always top quality.
Fast (~14 Mbps) wifi by Time Warner. Two hours free with password "whynotcoffeenyc". Think it's unlimited with a TWC login. Laptop users are asked to work downstairs.
