Jon Choo: The steak with cheese sauce (entrecote de salers) was truly delicious. Friendly staff.
2. Avinguda del Paral·lel
Jon Choo: So named because it is parallel to the equator.
3. Irati Taverna Basca
Jon Choo: Amazing tapas for those seeking quick cheap lunch. Standing bar.
4. Basílica de la Sagrada Família
Jon Choo: Buy your tickets online in advance then book off at least half a day to spend inside this magnificent building.
5. Royal China
Jon Choo: Very slow and indifference service. Dim sim was nice but pricey.
6. Bunnychow
Jon Choo: The Bunny is a South African fast food dish consisting of a hollowed out bread filled with whatever you want. Delicious but strictly a lunch only kind of food.
7. Pepe Italian Street Food
Jon Choo: Try the Cotto with brie cheese. Delicious. Amazing value at £4 per slice.
8. Dragon Castle
Jon Choo: One of the best dim sum joints in London, and certainly better than most in Chinatown.
9. La Gelatiera
Jon Choo: One of the best Italian ice cream shop in London. Go.
10. Le Relais de Venise L’Entrecôte
Jon Choo: Very busy but quick turnover during lunch period. Go for rare steak (duh) and save up for a dessert.
11. The Crooked Well
Jon Choo: Fabulous beef roast. Leave room for the chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice cream.
12. Pasta Imperiale
Jon Choo: Delicious pasta and amazing value at €5 for pasta and sauce of your choice.
13. Trevi-fontein
Jon Choo: Undergoing restoration project until late 2015. My suggestion is to not bother visiting until then.
14. Gelateria del Teatro
Jon Choo: Delicious Italian gelato. €2.50 for two scoops on a cone.
15. Pizzarium Bonci
Jon Choo: Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Pricey but worth it. I can eat the base just by itself...
16. โคลอสเซียม
Jon Choo: The guided tour, which allows you access to the undergound and third ring area, is worth the extra €9.
17. Piazza del Colosseo
Jon Choo: Beware of tour operators promising you fast tracked tickets with a tour package deal. The official tour is much cheaper.

Jon Choo: The architecture is icredibly simple, yet still mindboggling epic.
19. Pastificio
Jon Choo: €4 for a massive takeaway bowl of delicious pasta. Amazing.
20. Ceramica Raku
Jon Choo: Bought one of their fabulous clocks here on a recent visit. But despite spending €35, the staff was rather rude the entire time.
21. Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti
Jon Choo: As far as staircases goes, this gets an overwhelming meh response from us.
22. Bartolucci
Jon Choo: They do the best fridge magnet souvenir of Rome.
23. Espressamente Illy
Jon Choo: Typical Italian coffee which is Ok-ish. A good place to rest your legs while you escape the rain.
24. Cupola di San Pietro
Jon Choo: €5 to go up via the stairs. €7 via a combination of lift and stairs, which cuts the steps by about 30%. Just walk up!
25. Trattoria Zà Zà
Jon Choo: Expected this to be a tourist trap, but you believe the hype. Pasta with truffle sauce was delicious!
26. Casa Howard Guest Houses - Rome & Florence - Florence
Jon Choo: Friendly and informative staff members. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good value considering its convenient location.
27. La Dantesca
Jon Choo: Okay pizza for budget travellers.
28. Panini & Vini
Jon Choo: Amazing sandwiches. Perfect pit stop for those walking up to Piazzale Michelangelo.
29. Grom
Jon Choo: Looks rather touristy, but the gelato and hot chocolate drinks are delicious.
30. Smack Deli
Jon Choo: Happy Ending lobster was delish. So was the lobster chowder and courgette fries.
