    Music is great if you get the right DJ, crowd is whack, girls loved the $10 mani with a free beer, dont go before 11pm (thats when the back room opens), gets VERY crowded so prepare for drink spillage

    You can get a manicure and a martini for 10 bucks! After 11 pm, DJs spin dance tracks in the back room. A lot of fun (if you don't mind sharing your personal space--the area is small!).

    Free stand-up comedy several nights a week, best prices on 14th st, never a cover, and DJs almost every night. Great parties on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays! Get mani/martini for $10!!!

    Watch your shit! My bag got stolen here, and as nice and helpful as the entire staff was in (unsuccessfully) trying to locate it, it's apparently a very regular occurrence.

    Indulge at Beautybar- a place done a la Hairspray- lights made from hair-drying consolettes with modern-pop furniture and groovy strips of paint everywhere. Because Independence is a state of mind.

    Cocktail + manicure for 10 bucks? Why not? Be prepared to wait for your mani. One girl was rushing, one wasnt. The first did a better job.

    I could see how a lot of people might really hate this place, but I loved it. The DJ played all the pop music you love to hate. The crowd was as quirky as the venue.
