What's good here? Everything. Bring a good camera with long range lens...you will be taking photos of bison and elk from at least 25 yards away...a cellphone camera just isn't going to cut it.
Only bad thing is, you have to sit with your back to the water to get the sun from the east. No biggy though. Still awesome
Willis tower is a Chicago must see. Breathtaking architecture and the sky deck is an amazing view of the city. Take time to read facts on walls while in line for the sky deck. Watch movie too.

Damn hot chicken - as advertised. Very hot but edible. Chicken is so good that merely "hot" might be the better route, letting the flavor come through more. Mac and cheese was great. Fries were good.
This is an excellent place to eat. The jumbo tenders were bigger than advertised. Five different temperature levels. Highly recommend.

Wow, this place is the bomb. Get the Kansas City style chicken wings and the pork ribs. The greens beans and cole slaw are good sides, too.

The Chicago Field Museum is one of the best museums in the world. Plan to spend an entire day here as there is so much to see! My favorite exhibits are the NW Pacific tribes and Evolving Planet.

I love this place, the cider is amazing and the donuts are just wonderful fresh and hot. Picking your own apples is very fun as well. I had a great time as usual.
Beautiful rock formations and lots of hiking trails. Driving through and site seeing can take 2 hours tops, hiking/climbing can be an all day event. Be sure to see Balanced Rock!

Morton Arboretum is a favorite spot for families year-round, but its extra special in the fall. Visitors can hike the trails, run through the maze or just sit and admire the brilliant fall colors.
Very nice park on the outskirts of Madison, IN. I've seen more wildlife in this park than any other state park I've been in. Deer, turkey, coyote, squirrel. Nice campground and rugged walking trails.
Go early. You can stay out all day with all of the different trails
The place sells itself as San Francisco Mission-style (my hometown) burritos and I'd have to say that's the closest I've come to back home since I've moved out here. Delicious!
The burritos are the best in town. Everything is fresh, and the the atmosphere is great.

One of the best ways to spend a Saturday morning. I never knew there were so many kinds of tomatoes and potatoes. The crepes are amazing. Get the River Valley Florentine from Abby's! It's the best!
