    Beef ribs are an art in this restaurant. This is worth the drive. The Texas ribs in Texas aren't better. Fun decor-- for baseball lovers, can you identify this picture?

    Drooling over baby back ribs and Memphis ribs. baby back are a little juicer and tender 🤤 sliced brisket are good. Skip the tri tip. Mac n cheese, collard greens, and sweet potato mash are solid.

    The HoundDog! Great, absolutely great pieces of meat. Top it of with their 'XXX' sause.. You wont be able to stop eating. Cool down afterwards with either the banana pudding or key lime pie

    Omg everything is great! Almost went across the road to Roadhouse because it looked busier. Glad i didn’t, we were seated quickly and the food was beyond delicious omg!

    oh boy, stumbled into this place one night from drinking at wurstkuche. I wish I had started the night here! beef ribs are to murder for. Sauces are tangy, not too sweet, perfect to my liking.

    The lunch specials here are a really good deal. The pulled pork sandwiches and the sides are authentic. Park across the street at the lot.

    Go early if possible to avoid the dinner rush. Get the pulled pork, with some vinegar and hot sauce. I loved the Mac N Cheese but you really can't go wrong with any set of sides.

    It's all good. Tri-tip, brisket, baby back ribs. Oh I love the smashed sweet potatoes and you must have the desert (pie)

    Get one of the variety platters if you are in a big group, it's the best way to try out all their stuff. Pulled pork is a bit dry, porno sauce is a must

    We had smokey wings, Texas beef ribs, baby back pork ribs and pulled pork. All very nice. My highlight was the beef and the side of sautéed okra. Yum!

    You HAVE TO try the Banana Pudding! It is hands down the best we have ever had, not bad bar b que either and we are from the Deep South so that is a compliment!:)

    Brisket was delicious and well seasoned. Wasn't the most tender I've ever had but was very good. Pork and beans and collard greens sides were both great.

    Couldn't decide between ribs or pulled pork so I got them both. Wow, they were phenomenal! However, one of the best parts - the cornbread! Best cornbread I've ever had.

    The Memphis Ribs, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese were bomb! Try to mix the hot and sweet BBQ sauces. Banana pudding was the ass kicker. Sooooo good.

    Personally, I think the XXX sauce is the best. The women are a very close second. They have the most attractive waitresses...at the West LA location, that is... ;)

    split one of the meat dishes, MUST have mac and cheese on the side, and grab a couple shiners with a date! if the lines long, bring a bottle of wine/beers and sneakily drink it outside while waiting

    Kool Aid is a must. Memphis Style ribs were the stand out item on the menu! For sides - Mac and Cheese, Okra, Collard Greens, Pork and Beans - All Good! One of my favorite places in LA!

    Hands down the best bbq joint ever. And I was born and raised in Texas. ..had a large group (6 people) the wait was one hour but well worth it.

    Pork, pork and more pork! Order ribs and pulled pork and pour vinegar liberally all over the meat. Dip in the hot BBQ sauce--it's the best one. Great mac & cheese. I want some now!
