Really great food at quite reasonable prices, the vegetarian teriyaki set meal is extremely tasty and absolutely massive as well as being vegan.
Fairly small pub usually full of University staff and students, decent beer selection and a function room upstairs which can be booked.
The best reason to miss a train. Huge bottled beer selection and a good selection on cask and keg. It's worth asking the price before splashing out on a keg beer as some of them are rather pricey.
