How a shop this small has such an immense bottled beer selection is beyond me. Tons of craft beers and real ales from local microbreweries and an excellent Belgian beer selection on top of that! Wow!
Cheap, tasty food with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options and super friendly staff. Never seems too busy, even during the Fringe when everywhere else is rammed.
Widely regarded as the best fish and chips in St Andrews and as such there can be a pretty huge queue.

Excellent bar serving a good variety of craft beer, both on cask and keg. Large beer garden on the canalside and a narrowboat moored inside the pub, because why not.

An absolutely monstrous whisky selection and extremely knowledgeable bar staff make this a must for whisky fans. They also have four cask beers on offer, which from my experience were pretty decent.
A lovely historic pub right on the Thames, the view from the beer garden is what makes this place so be sure to go when the weather is pleasant.

A good selection of beer although the offerings on keg can be a tad expensive. The food however is incredible and very reasonably priced with loads of vegetarian and vegan options available.
Although it's only been open a short time the beer selection is already very impressive, good atmosphere although it can get busy at weekends.
The tofu bahn mi was absolutely delicious and the service was great and super speedy, great if you're short on time.

Run by Thornbridge. A lovely cosy little historic pub with a few Thornbridge beers on cask and keg and a surprising number of excellent guest ales for a Thornbridge pub. Whisky selection is good.
Almost certainly the best bottle selection in Shrewsbury with offerings from Buxton, Beavertown and Brewdog coupled with a great 1920s vibe and amazing cocktail selection. Highly, highly recommended.
